Week 2 Day 1 — Feynman Notebook Method
The Feynman Notebook Method, developed by Richard Feynman in the 20th century, is a study method designed around explaining a concept as if one was trying to teach a 5-year-old. In order to use the Feynman Method, you will need a notebook and a pencil.
Studying the history of the Roman Empire in history class while using the same bland language can quickly morph learning into a task, which is why the Feynman Notebook Method is so effective. Imagine learning about how the gladiators brutally fought each other and explaining it to yourself with silly 5-year-old language! The Feynman Method not only makes learning fun, but it also stimulates your brain to be more creative.
This week, I will use the Fenyman Notebook Method in order to study the history and effectiveness of it. My resources that I will use to study the Fenyman Method will span from Medium articles and YouTube videos (which will always be linked at the bottom of the article). Who knows, maybe I will even apply the Pomodoro Technique to the Fenyman Method!
Thanks so much for reading, and I will see you all tomorrow!
