One word describes my experience with studying while listening to music: Interesting.

Studying with music has definitely been very fun. However, a study method being fun does not automatically make it good. Music can distract people and drastically hinder their results in studying: when listening to lyrical music, particularly songs that I have heard before, I frequently found myself singing along to the song and tapping my foot along to the beat. On the other hand, I had mixed results when studying while listening to non-lyrical music. I found that my focus heightened and that it was much easier to remember concepts and facts when I listened to unfamiliar movie scores and classical music, but I still found myself distracted when listening to familiar movie scores and instrumental versions of pop songs. I do know that many people do not enjoy listening to any music whatsoever while studying and that they prefer having as much silence as possible, which is why I ask you to take my ratings with a grain of salt.

My final overall rating for studying with lyrical music: 5.5/10

My final overall rating for studying with non-lyrical music: 8.5/10

Please feel free to leave any questions down below! I will try to answer as many as possible. Additionally, I have created a notification mailing list for my blog. If you would like to be added to this, please email me (shaams3000@gmail.com).

Tomorrow I will not be posting on my blog (Sundays are my break day), but on Monday I will be moving on to the next learning technique. Big things are coming on Monday! I am excited to see if I can create my own study method after reviewing all of my ratings and thoughts for each method when I am done with my 100-day project!

See you all then!
